| REQUEST/ART TRADE/COMMISSION GUIDELINE V.2.1 by minako25 Below are the guidelines for requesting an illustration from me. This is a work in progress itself and I reserve the right to change, add or eliminate any guidelines as I see fit. 1) If you want a REQUEST/ART TRADE/COMMISSION please NOTE me (or email me). Do not comment in this journal or comment in a deviation!!! this is a sure fire way for me to forget about you or loose sight of the request. What you can get for a REQUESTS, ART TRADES or COMMISIONS. REQUESTS - You will receive a digital clean line illustration (or sketch if you want)from me for free. This piece can have up to a maximum of 3 characters, not colored (besides you guys love to color) and no background. If you desire something more complicated, colored or with a background - than we should talk commissions. COMMISIONS - For those of you who want a little extra. I've thought about this long and hard on how to offer commissions. This is really the best and most reasonable thing I can think of for now. This may and probably will change as this process moves along. If I have agreed to a commission the amount I quoted you originally can not change. PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE!!! 1. To have an additional three characters added to your request - $8 Example: If there are say, 7 characters in the request, that would be $16 2. To have me color the request and/or add a background - $20 3. To have me do something that constitutes a project (a comic book, or series of illustrations) - NOTE me, we'll talk about it. If anything is not clear - please let me know because it probably means a typo on my part. ART TRADES - To be discussed on an individual basis with the Trader. 2) I reserve the right to deny any request for any reason that I see fit. For example if your request is too complicated; or if it is perverse; or if I feel I can't do it justice - I'll be straight with you and say "no". You obviously could ask for something else after that; or if you harass me about the same request over and over, or if I can tell you just ignored the guidelines - I'll just have to ignore you. No hard feelings. 3) No YAOI or YURI (gay or lesbian)!!! I will not be doing a pairing of CodyXNoah. This is my own personal preference, I just don't want to. I'm not against homosexuals - I just don't want to. 4) No pornography. If it's just suggestive or comical than I'll consider it. You can thank those Deviants who seem to go around looking for violations. I'm trying my best not to put up anything that DA will flag me for. 5) Fair warning. I am not very good at drawing cars, guns and giant robots. If they're really vital to your idea, I'll give it a try, but If it's something I feel I can't do justice to, I'll let you know straight out. 6) Reference pictures. Please don't assume anything when asking me for something. There are more than a dozen fandoms out there that I probably don't know about, so don't assume I know who blank from blank show is. If you can provide reference pictures, please do so. 7) As a courtesty if you have already had a free request done by me, hold off on asking for another (for a while atleast). I think it's fair that EVERYONE gets a turn. If you really have to have me do something, than we need to talk about payment for my services. 8) Negotiations. That's right! I fully give you guys the right to negotiate any of the guidelines with me (in a proper and civil fashion.) If you think you've got the absolutely best idea for a picture ever, but it breaks a guideline . . . pitch it to me anyway. Seriously if you're request requires a fourth character in the piece and there's no way around it - we can talk. I can be reasonable. 9) Last, I do requests in my free time. I work another job as you may have read, and I take care of my parents. I think in all fairness I can probably dedicate myself to 5 requests a month - on top of working on two comics and other random inspiration - if I can do more... great! If this gets out of hand - or I get too busy with real life - I will put requests on hiatus or stop completely. I will also not be taking requests for months ahead of time - it's unfair to you, unfair to me, and unfair to those who are new to the party. |
