After I drew Eva in a dress, I wanted to makes designs for all the characters. Not an easy task to think of 11 different dresses. Nothing interesting for poses either, just trying to the the designs across. Leshawna's design alone took 3 attempts before I actually pulled my chinese dress out of the closet and decided that was what she would wear. Originally, I wanted to dress 'Shawnie in a fancy glittery dress with a cross strap design across her chest, but it looked really dumb. Eva's dress had a few changes too, because I found a photo of a REAL dress that looked like the one I made up... so I made a few alterations because of things I liked about the real dress. (The pendant, the black strips instead of light colored and a darker skirt) And doing their hair differently... holy crap, Bridgette went through 7 different attempts to make her hair look curled/braided up, but not stupid. Believe me, they all turned out really stupid. The real challenge starts when I try to draw the guys. Beyond Duncan and Harold... I have no idea how to make up 11 different formal men's outfits. I mean, they all look the bloody same. And I never go to real formal events, so i really dont know what to dress them in. **** Edit (12/08/08 midnight-ish) Added Heather, Izzy, Lindsay, & Courtney. I saw a few comments already and will be considering them. Izzy's dress is based off a search for "Ugly Dresses" on google. When I saw it, I said, "That's not that ugly," and than the dress said, "I dare you to make me uglier!" (no really, it spoke to me) and I responded, "Okay, you'll go on Izzy and be GREEN!!!" It's still not ugly enough... is it? Beth's dress was inspired by looking up "ugly dresses". **** Comments, critiques, better ideas for a dress... lemme hear it. (And if anyone wants to reuse any of the dress designs... feel free, since most of them are based off real clothing. Anyone who's going to try to snag this picture and re-edit it badly to make Gwen into their own character... don't even think about it.) |

Courtney would probably want something that says "I'm mature and successful", maybe a simple long black dress with her hair done up.
You could probable pull Lindsay's look out of any fashion magazine.
Izzy's a hard call. She'd could take it to the extreme and go Disney princess on everyone or maybe she'd dress like she was about to hit the night clubs and go bar hopping.
